ANGA COM 2025 publishes Conference Programme with more than 60 Panels: Fiber, Content, Connectivity

Cologne/Germany, 27 March 2025 | ANGA COM, Europe’s leading Exhibition and Conference for Broadband, Television & Online from 3 to 5 June 2025 in Cologne, has today published its conference programme with the up-to-date key topics of the broadband, TV and streaming industry. This year's three-day agenda features a particularly high level of participation from CEOs and even more international panels than last year. 28 of the total of over 60 panels with more than 200 speakers will be held in English.

The Gigabit Summit, the Media Summit and the Fiber Summit are the highlights of the conference programme which will kick off with a keynote speech by Hendrik Wüst, Premier of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. This will be immediately followed by the Gigabit Summit with the CEOs of leading network operators and the Federal Network Agency on the most important question of the coming months “What needs to change in Germany after the election?”. The first highlight of the media programme is an exclusive interview with Dr. Katrin Vernau, Director General of WDR since 1 January 2025. She will answer the question “Quo Vadis WDR?”. This will be followed by the top-level “Media Summit: Content, Streaming, Transformation”. The second day will begin with the Fiber Summit entitled “How far will we get with FTTH in 2025?”, also attended by leading CEOs from the industry.  

The strategy programme for the three days of the conference includes the following panels in the area of broadband and fiber optics:

On Thursday, 5 June 2025, attendance at ANGA COM, including the entire conference programme, is completely free of charge. The day begins with the Infrastructure Summit “How do we speed up the Inhouse Roll-Out?”. This will be followed by the topic “Inhouse Networks and Housing Industry: Business Models after the Change from Collective to Individual Contracts” as well as two cooperation panels with the Federal Gigabit Bureau and the Competence Center Digital Infrastructure NRW.

The programme section “Technology & Practice” is as international as it is practical. The topics addressed include fiber optics, in-house networks, open access, resilience, HFC networks, quality of service, civil engineering, connectivity, streaming, video discovery, ad insertion, CDN, IP video, monitoring, monetization, data protection, artificial intelligence and sustainability. This programme section (as well as the strategy programme) will take place partly on the Innovation Stage, an open presentation stage directly in the exhibition hall. All exhibition visitors have free access to the programme on this stage. Dr. Peter Charissé, CEO ANGA COM: “This year, we want to address the up-to-date key topics of the broadband and media industry in a particularly targeted manner. In the area of fiber optics, these include the expansion of in-house networks, the migration from copper to fiber and the increase in take-up rates. The media topics include the future of audience measurement for television, streaming and online, data-driven advertising and an interim assessment of TV distribution after the change from collective to individual contracts.”

The exhibition is also on course to break records with already more than 480 exhibitor registrations from 40 countries and bookings for more stand space than last year. All companies already registered for ANGA COM 2025 can be found in the exhibitor list and the floor plan.

Registration for conference and exhibition visitors is possible online (there will be no ticket sales on-site). Tickets for the exhibition are available for 25.- Euros, participation in the regular conference programme is possible from 140.- Euros. Due to the great success of the conference ticket for young professionals (persons under 30 years), this ticket category can again be booked for ANGA COM 2025 for only 40.- Euros. On the third day, Thursday, 5 June 2025, participation in the exhibition and conference programme is completely free of charge.
