Cologne / Germany, 29 January 2026 | ANGA COM, Europe’s leading Exhibition and Conference for Broadband, Media and Connectivity, is expanding its 2026 programme with an innovative interactive element: the “ANGA COM Round Tables”. From 19 to 21 May 2026, Cologne will once again become the central marketplace for the telecommunications and media industry – complemented by a format that enables in-depth exchange in smaller groups.
Interactivity and practical relevance are at the forefront of this new format. Moderated by so-called “table captains”, the discussion rounds offer space for 10 to 20 people, who can dive deep into specific practical topics in 30-minute sessions. The goal is to promote direct dialogue and develop practical solutions for challenges in the fields of telecommunications and media.
“Call for Captains” launched: All exhibitors, partners and friends of ANGA COM are invited to apply as a table captain to moderate a round table. We are looking for topics with high practical relevance that are also expected to trigger controversial discussions among participants. All information and the application form as a table captain are available online here.
Dr. Peter Charissé, CEO ANGA COM: “With the Round Tables, we are creating a platform for exchange at eye level, which ideally complements our high-quality conference programme with an interactive feature. Table captains will have the chance to strengthen their visibility as experts and thought leaders and receive direct feedback from the market.”
The international exhibition also remains on course for success. Less than four months before the start of ANGA COM 2026, the two exhibition halls are filling up day by day. All companies that have already registered can be found in the exhibitor list and the floor plans. Information on stand booking, sponsoring and promotion can be found on the website (www.angacom.de). The ANGA COM fact sheet with numerous statements from leading representatives of the fiber, broadband and media industries as well as a variety of videos and photos are also available there.
A particular highlight of ANGA COM 2026 is the participation of Dr. Karsten Wildberger, Federal Minister for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation, who has confirmed his attendance. He will deliver the keynote speech on Tuesday, 19 May 2026 and will also take part in the subsequent opening discussion, the Gigabit Summit.
Registration for conference and exhibition visitors is already possible online. Tickets for the exhibition are available for 25.- Euros, participation in the regular conference programme is possible from 140.- Euros. Due to the great success of the conference ticket for young professionals (persons under 30 years), this ticket category can again be booked for ANGA COM 2026 for only 40.- Euros. On the third day, Thursday, 21 May 2026, participation in the exhibition and conference programme is completely free of charge.
