Cologne/Germany, 12 July 2021 | ANGA COM DIGITAL, a new virtual event format of ANGA COM – Exhibition and Conference for Broadband, Television & Online, has closed the digital event platform today. Due to the continued interest in the industry, the on demand period has been extended beyond 30 June. In the end, a total of 4,400 congress participants from 93 countries visited the platform. The congress participants came from 1,600 different companies, 40 percent were international.
The official conference programme included 45 panels with 180 international speakers. In addition, there were almost 100 webinars and keynotes from more than 80 digital partners from the broadband and media industry, so that the platform offered a total of more than 60 hours of streaming content. The conference offering was intensively used. Many panels, both from the strategy and the highly specialized, international technology programme, had more than one thousand views.
Dr Peter Charissé, Managing Director of ANGA COM: “For a completely new, digital congress format, we are very satisfied with the number of participants. We have always said that an online congress cannot replace a real trade show, and this was already known from other events. Even those who were talking about a digital disruption of the classic trade show already before the pandemic should have learned their lesson in the last few months. People want to meet people and trade shows are the most time- and cost-efficient way to do this in a professional and international way. That's why our view is already focused on May 2022 to see all our partners and customers again in Cologne.”
The next ANGA COM show will take place from 10 to 12 May 2022 at the Cologne Fairgrounds. Stand booking is already open at www.angacom.de.
